Paradise Entertainment Center, located at 645 East Georgia Avenue,
Memphis, Tennessee,  is the culmination of efforts of the Paradise Center Board
of Directors headed by Dr. Michael McGhee.  The 42,000 square foot building is a
multi-purpose facility that will host concerts, conferences, community events,
corporate meetings, family reunions and weddings as well as religious services.  
The Entertainment Center features a state of the Art Audio and Visual system
capable of delivering crystal clear audio and stunning video presentations to any
area of the main hall.  The site was formerly operated as the Legendary “Club
Paradise.”  The building’s history encompasses an amazingly rich musical legacy
ranging from such internationally acclaimed artists as B.B. King, Aretha Franklin,
Johnnie Taylor, Ike and Tina Turner, Isaac Hayes, Bobby Blue Bland, Albert King,
Little Milton and Bobby Rush. Club Paradise attracted the best talent to be found
and was known for providing the best in live performances.  As such it attracted
the attention of and was often frequented by such famous Memphians as Elvis
